Police; Milwaukee woman, 44, seriously wounded in shooting near 38th and Meinecke

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 44-year-old Milwaukee woman is hurt following a shooting near 38th and Meinecke Tuesday, Jan. 5.
Police say it happened around 5:37 p.m.
According to police, the woman sustained a serious gunshot wound to her leg. A responding officer applied a tourniquet to the victim's leg and she was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
