The Miss Racine Organization stands as one of the longest running local programs in the state of Wisconsin. The program can be traced back over 60 years! In the past 10 years, three Miss Wisconsins began their journey on the Miss Racine stage. The Miss Racine Competition has produced eight eventual Miss Wisconsins, two eventual Miss Wisconsin’s Outstanding Teen’s, and two eventual Miss Wisconsin USA’s. The Miss Racine competition is a local affiliate of the Miss America Organization, one of the nation’s leading achievement programs and the world’s largest provider of scholarship assistance for young women. The Miss Racine Organization recently had administrative changes as their long time dedicated director retired. Two former Miss Racine’s and also former Miss Wisconsin’s Alyssa Bohm and Paula Winiarski took over the program this past year. The 2024 Miss Racine Competition awarded over 6,000 dollars in scholarships this year to the candidates. The five stages of competition include: Private Interview, On-Stage Conversation, Health and Fitness, Talent, and Evening Gown. Each candidate will select her chosen Community Service Initiative (CSI), a social or community issue of concern to herself and our society at large. The CSI provides an opportunity for young women to achieve their personal and professional ambitions by participating in community services activities and developing leadership skills. Christel has been an incredible role model and spokesperson for the Miss Racine Organization. She has attended many influential and exciting events so far as Miss Racine. She is also inspiring other young ladies to want to compete.
