RACINE, WI (CBS 58) -- An upcoming event at the Racine Zoo hopes to raise money for the care of their eastern black rhinos.

Wild for Wine at Racine Zoo

Join Racine Zoo for their fundraising event for the care of their eastern black rhinos, Timu and Kianga, and the conservation of their wild counterparts! While supporting these amazing rhinos, you can enjoy an exquisite wine selection, delectable five-course catered dinner, being greeted by an animal ambassador, a presentation all about rhinos by an Animal Care Specialist, a silent auction, and more! Must be 21 or older to attend. Zoo Member: $85, Zoo Non-Member: $95, Zoo Member Non-Drinking: $75, Zoo Non-Member Non-Drinking: $85.

- Let's celebrate mom! Join us for a special Mother's Day brunch to spend some quality time with mom and all of your favorite animals at the zoo! This event will include: delicious catered brunch, fun giraffe encounter presented by North Shore Bank, lovely flower for mom, commemorative photo, crafts for kids to create for mom, plus same-day zoo admission. Adult Member: $35, Adult Non-Member: $45, Child Member: $25, Child Non-Member: $35, Children 2 years and younger: FREE
The Racine Zoo is proud to have so many dedicated volunteers as a valuable part of our team. We have our Volunteen Program for teens ages 13 – 19, as well as our Adult Volunteer Program! This is perfect for those who are considering a future career with animals, zoos, education, or for those just looking for a fun volunteer opportunity to do in their spare time! New volunteens and volunteers are accepted in the Spring and Fall of each year. Spring applications are due April 1, 2023.
