Racine Zoo gears up for summer with concerts, themed events

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) - Summer is in full swing, and the Racine Zoo is preparing for a busy season filled with live entertainment and family-friendly events.

CBS 58 was joined by Racine Zoo Executive Director Beth Heidorn and Conservation Education Manager Abby Flores to preview some of the zoo's biggest events of the summer.

Among the highlights is the annual Animal Crackers Concert Series, where guests can enjoy live music overlooking Lake Michigan.

The zoo's summer lineup also includes Margaritafest, a Cigar Dinner, Christmas in July and Breakfast with the Grinch, offering something for visitors of all ages throughout the season.
