2-year-old boy shot by another child near 26th & Hadley; woman arrested

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Police say a child got ahold of a firearm, unintentionally discharged it, and a bullet struck a 2-year-old boy. 

The victim was rushed to a hospital for treatment. 

Police say that a 40-year-old Milwaukee woman is in custody in connection with the incident and that charges are expected.

According to officials this investigation is ongoing.
