Significant vehicle collision on I-94 southbound in Racine County, lanes back open

UPDATE at 10:16:  After several hours of being shut down, the lanes are back open.


RACINE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- According to the Racine County Sheriff's Office, there has been a significant vehicle collision on I-94 southbound, on Sunday, Feb. 4 around 6:45 p.m. 

Officials say the collisions are south of STH 20 but north of HWY 11, and southbound traffic is completely shut down. Anticipated shut down is over two hours. They said that the crash involved one semi-tractor trailer and or two other vehicles, and the semi-tractor trailer is leaking fluids. 

No life-threatening injuries have been reported.
