RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A storm Tuesday afternoon caused downed trees, downed power lines, damage to fences and homes in Racine.
There were multiple trees down in the area around South Street and Douglas Avenue.
City crews were out Tuesday evening trying to clear roads.
Owners and employees of Vassh Excavating and Grading were also out helping clear neighbor's yards and streets.
Kim Rozewicz's home was damaged by a tree that went through her living room window.
“Everybody’s okay. We have two dogs two cats. It’s hard when you look into this and you put so much work, but as long as everyone’s okay that’s all I care about.”
Paul Moore's fence was damaged.
"My wife said the fence is gone and the trampoline's in the backyard and there’s downed power lines - get home," he said.
According to the We Energies Outage Map nearly 3,000 customers were impacted in the area.
