Waukesha panel discusses CBD, hemp-related businesses

WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The topic of cannabis took center stage at a meeting in Waukesha Monday night.

The event included a panel discussing their experiences with CBD products and hemp-related businesses.

"Really it's a healthcare issue," Aaron Perry said. "It shouldn't be a partisan political issue and so people are hungry for more information regarding that, whether it helps even their family of their pets."

The event was put on by Blue Sky Waukesha, an advocacy group for Waukesha County.

Recently, Wisconsin legalized the sale and use of CBD, an active ingredient in cannabis.
