WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Waukesha police are investigating an armed robbery that happened at a convenience store on Summit Street, near Delafield Avenue. 

Officials were called to the scene around 12:40 a.m. on Aug. 20. 

According to police, a store employee was working alone when an unknown man entered the business armed with a handgun. The suspect demanded money and after taking a disclosed amount, they forced the employee into a back room and restrained them with zip ties before fleeing the scene. 

Thankfully, the employee was not injured.
