"We remain on track:" We Energies restates expectation to have full service restored to those without power by end of Saturday

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- In a statement released Saturday night, August 14, We Energies Manager of Media Relations, Brendan Conway, restated the company's hope to have power returned to all customers who were affected by Tuesday night's devastating storm's throughout Southeast Wisconsin.

"We remain on track to have all customers who lost power during Tuesdays storm to have service restored by the end of the day" said Conway.

The statement also cautioned to not assume outages on the online outage map are due to Tuesday's storms.

"The outage map will still show outages of people’s who’s power has been restored but who need to have their equipment fixed," said Conway. "Also, we have scattered outages nearly every day. They can be caused by all sorts of things including weather, equipment issues, wildlife, even balloons."
