West Allis Police: Drunk roommates get in fight resulting in stabbing

WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- West Allis Police responded to a domestic violence report near 73rd and Walker early in the morning on Monday, April 22 before 1 a.m. 

Officers learned that a 38-year-old man and 43-year-old man who were roommates got into a fight. The two had only been roommates for a few days. The 43-year-old punched the 38-year-old multiple times and at some point had a knife in his hand resulting in cuts.

The victim was taken to the hospital for injuries.

When officers got there the victim was outside of the house and the suspect was locked inside. Officers forced entry into the house and found the suspect lying on a mattress.

The DA has decided not to file charges in the case. Both victim and suspect appeared to be drunk.
