Zablocki Golf Course reopens with synthetic turf

MILWAUKEE COUNTY (CBS 58) -- If you're a golfer, you know that Zablocki is the shortest of Milwaukee County's public courses, and it's been closed for months during renovation.

But it reopened Tuesday, June 18, with synthetic turf covering the tee boxes and the greens.

"I am proud to say that Zablocki Golf Course is now the first synthetic golf course in the entire state of Wisconsin," said Milwaukee County Board Supervisor Kathleen Vincent.

The par 3 course, perfect for beginners or anyone who wants to work on that short game, is located at 37th and Howard in Greenfield.
