MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Bucks fans are riding the emotional highs of a stunning Game 5 comeback victory Wednesday night. Now the Bucks return home with a chance to close out the Celtics Friday night at Fiserv Forum. And fans are fired up for the opportunity to chant "Bucks in 6" once again.

There was a lot of pent-up excitement Thursday, but no real outlet as fans were forced to wait for the potential clincher.

After rough weather and plodding play dampened the start of the playoffs, Bucks fans say the team is finally showing its championship pedigree at exactly the right time.

Fan Corey Agbuis said, "I'm a big Bucks fan so I just wanted to go all-out."

The Bucks are rolling as they head into Game 6, and so are Bucks fans.

Fan Evan Gillespie said, "I think the Bucks are going to take it. Giannis is playing like the monster he is."

And fan Arnold Toby said, "They've got a great team. They're very active together, which I like."

Signs of support are up throughout the city, including across the street from the hotel the Celtics are allegedly staying at.

And the new Giannis mural had a lot of visitors, including Agbuis in his Bucks-themed Dodge Challenger Hellcat.

Agbuis said, "I'm going to take my son to Game 6 tomorrow, yesterday we took an unbelievable W at the end, and I'm just hyped."

And of course, Corey's not alone.

Evan Gillespie says this year is starting to feel like last year. "Oh there's a buzz. I'm feeling that energy again. In the arena, the arena's rocking, everyone is screaming, everyone is having a great time. So it's a good time for the city."

This week the weather is cooperating. 5,000 people packed into the Deer District for the Game 5 watch party, and the Bucks are prepared for even more people for Game 6.

DJ Shawna, the official Bucks DJ, said, "It's been astounding, it's surreal. But nothing surprising."

DJ Shawna said she's seen the intensity ramp up all season long from her unique perch inside Fiserv Forum and outside at the watch parties. She said, "It's one of my favorite things, just watching Milwaukee come together over something that's bigger than us."

She says the Bucks' championship mentality has resonated across the city, inspiring people to always improve. "It's so cool to see so many people so proud of our city, and it comes around something we have zero control over."

After splitting the first two games and trailing for much of Game 5, the stunning comeback win means confidence is high heading into Game 6 with a chance to clinch.

Arnold Toby said, "They're going to take it. I think the Bucks will win it again."

Corey Agbuis predicted, "Bucks in 6, like always."

And Evan Gillespie said, "Oh yeah, Bucks in 6, come on now."

Game 6 tips off at 6:30 p.m. Friday night, and the gates for the Deer District watch party will open two hours before game time, at 4:30.

The Bucks encourage people to get there early, and the crowd will be capped at 11,000 fans, if necessary.
