MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – Fiserv Forum is undergoing a transformation for three Monster Jam shows.
The Milwaukee Bucks’ home court is being turned into a Monster Jam track. On Thursday, 1,000 yards of dirt was brought into the arena.
The Monster Jam track is designed to test the driver’s skills. There will be six foot high dirt ramps and obstacles like crashed cars.
Organizers say it’s a big job to get a place like Fiserv Forum ready for Monster Jam.
“They switch over the arena, they pull out their court, they put plastic over their seats and then we turn around and bring dirt in,” Track construction manager Kenny Henry said. “We have a really tight timeline to get the dirt in the building.”
A Monster Jam drivers meet and greet ticket giveaway will be held at the Harley-Davidson Museum on Friday from 12 p.m.-1 p.m. Fans can get autographs and see a life-size inflatable truck up close. Additionally, the first 100 guests to arrive and donate to the Milwaukee Public Schools Mitten Drive will receive a free ticket voucher to any of the three Monster Jam shows and free entrance to the Harley-Davidson Museum.
Monster Jam takes place Friday and Saturday. Tickets start at $19.
