Heat and humidity increase heading into the weekend

NOW: Heat and humidity increase heading into the weekend
NEXT:

It was a picture perfect Thursday across southeast Wisconsin with comfortable temps and low humidity. Unfortunately the humidity will increase today with dew point rising into the mid 60s. It'll be ever more muggy through the weekend as dew points continue to rise into the low 70s both Saturday and Sunday.

Not only will our humidity increase, but so will temperatures. Highs will reach the low 80s lakeside today and mid 80s inland, but wind flips to the south Saturday, boosting temps into the upper 80s to low 90s.

When you factor in the humidity, it'll feel more like 95-100° on Saturday.

After a dry day today and Saturday, scattered showers and storms move back in early Sunday morning and continue off and on through Monday morning as a front stalls then slowly pushes through the region.

Any storms that develop will produce heavy downpours, and storms that track over the same areas could lead to flooding. At this point, .50-1.50" of rain is expected late Saturday night through midday Monday with locally higher amounts over 2" possible.

The front will settle to our south by the state of the week with much more comfortable weather returning next week. Download the CBS 58 Ready Weather App to see how much temps will drop next week.
