MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Dancing Grannies will represent Wisconsin in the country's 250th birthday celebrations in Philadelphia and Washington, D.C., according to a Facebook post from the group.

The group will march in Philadelphia on Friday, July 3 before performing in the National Independence Day Parade in front of the White House on Saturday, July 4.

The group said on Facebook, "We are excited, honored, and ready to proudly represent Wisconsin while entertaining thousands along the parade routes. The red, white, and blue are ready to shine, and so are we!"
