Milwaukee Police: Man injured with utility knife during argument near 27th and Hayes

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Police are investigating after a man was cut with a utility knife on Tuesday evening.

Police were dispatched to the area of 27th and Hayes around 6 p.m. for a report of a stabbing victim.

Police learned that the victim and known suspect argued with one another. The suspect then cut the victim with a utility knife.

The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment of what is believed to be non-life threatening injuries.

Police are continuing to search for the known suspect.
