MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- "MKE MVP," a new musical comedy centered on the Milwaukee Bucks' 2021 championship season, will open Jan. 16, 2027 as part of the Milwaukee Repertory Theater's upcoming season.

The show, written by Matt Zembrowski, follows the team's title run through the perspective of a group of lifelong fans, spanning from the franchise's pick of a future MVP in 2013 to the 2021 championship. "MKE MVP" is scheduled to run at the Stackner Cabaret through March 14, 2027, with a runtime of about 2 hours and 15 minutes.
