Milwaukee's 5th Annual Pumpkin Giveaway being held October 19

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- If you're looking for some free fall fun today -- the City of Milwaukee has an event for you!

Their 5th Annual Pumpkin Giveaway will take place from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 19 at Fondy Park Farmer's Market, located at 2200 W. Fond du Lac Avenue.

Residents are encouraged to stop by and take home a free pumpkin to decorate their homes with for Halloween.

Mayor Barrett and Alderman Stamper II will be on hand to help families pick their pumpkins and explore the park.

The event is hosted by the City of Milwaukee's Environmental Collaboration Office, Fondy Food Center, and Pete's Fruit Market.
