Nothing but warmer than normal temps for the next week

NOW: Nothing but warmer than normal temps for the next week
NEXT:

The clouds have been stubborn lakeside today, but abundant sunshine has developed inland! The clouds have kept temps in check near the lake, but they're still warmer than normal for this time of year.

Temps will stay in the upper 30s to mid 40s Sunday and Monday with morning clouds and some afternoon sun. The quicker the sunshine develops, the warmer we'll get. Northeast winds Sunday and Monday will turn to the south by the middle of the week, pushing temps into the mid to upper 40s Tuesday and lower 50s Wednesday and Thursday. Both highs and lows those days will be flirting with record warm territory.

High pressure will continue to keep us dry through Wednesday, but an approaching low pressure system will bring scattered rain showers to the region Thursday into Friday.

Temps do look to cool back into the mid 30s to low 40s next weekend behind this system, but that's still above normal for this time of year. Normal highs in early February are in the low 30s. Temps in general will remain above normal through Valentines Day.
