MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 31-year-old Milwaukee man has been charged in connection with a sexual assault at the Milwaukee Intermodal Station. The accused, Cephus Johnson, told investigators after his arrest that if he was released, he would kill women.

According to a criminal complaint, the assault happened on Thursday, April 9. The victim told police she was using the restroom at the Intermodal Station around 6 a.m., when Johnson poked his head over the bathroom stall she was in. The victim reported Johnson climbed over the partition and assaulted her.

The complaint says hearing the victim scream, two security guards came into the bathroom, and one fired a gunshot.

Johnson was arrested.

Investigators say the day before the assault at the intermodal station, Johnson allegedly assaulted another victim in the same area -- on Wisconsin Avenue. In that incident, Johnson reportedly attempted to pull a woman's skirt down and a struggle ensued before another person approached the two and yelled at Johnson to stop. The victim told investigators she believed the suspect was trying to sexually assault her. She also identified Johnson in a photo lineup.

Authorities interviewed Johnson, who allegedly stated if he was released, he would kill women.

Johnson has been charged with one count of attempted second degree sexual assault and three counts of second degree sexual assault.
