RACINE, WI (CBS 58) -- The Wisconsin Humane Society offers full summer camp scholarships for students in need of financial assistance the opportunity to attend summer camp. Full scholarships are available for summer camps at the Milwaukee, Ozaukee, and Racine Campuses for young people completing grades 1-9.
Teachers or mentors can nominate a young person they think will benefit from a summer camp experience or families can apply directly. Nomination and application forms can be submitted online or printed and returned by mail or email.
Parents or guardians, teachers, mentors, and other community members can apply for children to receive a scholarship by filling out our online application at wihumane.org. The deadline for teacher/mentor nomination forms is April 1, and the deadline for applications from families is April 14.
