Racine & Me: Waterford Stillhouse

WATERFORD, WI (CBS 58) -- Waterford Stillhouse become the first legal distillery in Racine County since Prohibition in March of 2020.

“Since the beginning, we have had many requests to distribute our premium vodka, which won a silver medal in the USA Spirits Rating Competition this past summer and most recently a silver medal at the Craft Spirits Competition in December of 2022,” says owner Tammie Begotka.

Waterford Stillhouse worked with Lia Fanning at Artistic Spirits, who translated their logo and ideas into their current beautiful bottle design.

Tammie says, “the relationship with Lia has become a partnership based on friendship and trust as well as mutual respect and goals. I can’t confirm it yet, but I am pretty sure that Lia is the first women distributor in the state of Wisconsin.”

Together, these women are only starting to bring Waterford Stillhouse spirits to a location near you, with more to come!

Waterford Stillhouse is also excited to release their new product line of premium simple syrups. Just before Christmas, they released their honey simple syrup, which is one of the ingredients they use in their gold rush cocktail.

In the next few weeks, they will be releasing Jalapeno simple syrup which they use to make their Jalapeno Martini. In addition, they just released a new spirits product: Light Whiskey. They recently won gold medals & “Best American Craft” medal for it at the Craft Distiller’s Competition in California.
