MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The man accused in the fatal crash of Milwaukee Police Officer Kou Her is expected in court Tuesday morning.

Dante James faces several charges including homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle and hit-and-run.

Authorities say on June 18, Officer Her was on his way home from work when he was hit and killed by James, who was speeding and driving under the influence. The crash happened near 60th and Capitol. Investigators say James had been drinking all day and was fired from his job for being drunk at work hours before the crash.
