The Pasta Tree serves up European charm for 43 years on Milwaukee's east side

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- For 43 years, The Pasta Tree has been serving up European charm and classic home-made pastas. They offer the Italian classics like lasagna and hand-breaded fried mozzarella. They make all of their sauces and noodles in house, from tortellini to spaghetti and ravioli.
"This is a pesto cream with an artichoke heart, this is our chicken alfredo with wild mushrooms," said Suzzette Metcalfe, the owner of The Pasta Tree Restaurant & Wine Bar said as she showed us around some of the menu items she prepared. "You can get it with or without mushrooms, if you'd like. You can also get it without chicken, and you can add, I mean, we have, sausage smoked salmon, scallops, shrimp."
Metcalfe recommends making a reservation before stopping by. The Pasta Tree is open Wednesday through Saturday 5 to 9 p.m. and Sunday 5 to 8 p.m.
