MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Another Milwaukee reconstruction project will soon enter its third phase.

Between April and mid-July, work will be done on the west side of W. Lisbon Avenue from 86th St. to Burleigh Road.

In July, work on the east side of Lisbon Avenue will begin, expected to last through October.

During an informational meeting Tuesday night, one business owner who works on Lisbon Avenue said the work is impacting her bottom line.

"Well, the road was closed last summer, so everyone had to park in Century, and yeah, the older people, it's hard for them to roll their walker over grass," Cindy Borlen, of Lisbon Court Tailoring, said. "Yeah, it has hurt our business."

The project will reconstruct the roadway, replace sidewalks, and reconstruct traffic signals, street lighting, ADA pedestrian ramps, and some drainage structures, according to the city.
