'This is our year': Brewers fans hope to keep momentum going for NLCS
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Despite the loss, Brewers fans brought the energy for Game 1 of the NLCS.
From showing up head to toe in team pride to tailgating hours before first pitch, fans showed up for their home team loud and proud.
It was a full house with a loud crowd at American Family Field Monday night. You could hear the roar of cheering from outside the stadium from fans hoping to take home a win.
The energy was the same before the game started as thousands of fans showed up hours early to tailgate. You could feel the anticipation and team pride in the air as fans enjoyed drinks, food and camaraderie with fellow Brew Crew fans.
Several fans we spoke with said while they think it'll be a challenging series against the Dodgers, their home team has what it takes to come out on top, and they're ready to be there every step of the way.
"I've been here for all the moments, since '07 Braunie's grand slam, all that, this is the loudest the crowd's ever been," said Brewers fan Todd Andreska. "It's very exciting."
"I think this is our year this year," Brewers fan Sandy Solo said. "Everybody's supportive, everybody's coming out cheering them on and we're gonna get it this year."
Several fans say they plan to be here Tuesday as well, even if they don't have a ticket to get in.
