MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The sun might not be out, but fans are showing up for the Brew Crew, ready to tailgate outside American Family Field for Game 1 of the NLCS. They say a little rain won't stop them from cheering on their home team.

People are already enjoying some drinks and grilling as they eagerly count down to Game 1.

Fans were waiting in line to secure the best tailgate spot as early as 2 p.m. Monday. Several of these loyal fans say they were there for the division series last week and that the energy was unlike any other.

Anticipation is in the air as fans say they're hoping to top that energy Monday night.

They say they want to see a strong start for the Brewers in what they expect to be a challenging matchup against the Dodgers, ready to see some history made on the diamond.

"I've been here for all the moments, since '07 Braunie's grand slam, all that, this is the loudest the crowd's ever been," said Brewers fan Todd Andreska. "It's very exciting."

"I think this is our year this year," Brewers fan Sandy Solo said. "Everybody's supportive, everybody's coming out cheering them on and we're gonna get it this year."

Fans who don't even have tickets are also coming out, hoping to secure a last-minute ticket and get a look at the action live.
