NOW: Coldest air of the season rolls in with wind chills near zero
NEXT:

Monday morning was the coldest of the season with air temps dropping into the teens and low 20s. But Tuesday morning will be even colder. Air temps Monday afternoon stay in the 20s for the first time this season not reaching the freezing mark. Wind chills during the day hang out around 10 to 15* then wind chills drop Monday night into the single digits for most as lows drop into the teens for everyone.

Wind chills Tuesday morning could get as cold as 0* with some subzero wind chills possible in isolated hometowns. The cold air will confined to Monday and Tuesday as we hardly cool Tuesday night and wind chills Wednesday get back to more typical numbers around 30 by the afternoon.

Average highs by the middle to end of the week drop to around 42* and that's where our temps will end up as we warm starting Wednesday into the upper 30s and low 40s.

There won't be any super intense wind the next couple days but a persistent breeze stays with us out of the west or northwest gusting to 20 or 25 mph.
