Remaining blustery and cold throughout the weekend

It's been a cold and blustery day today with wind chills in the low to mid teens and winds gusting 25-30 mph. The wind will stay that strong as we head through tonight, causing wind chills to drop into the single digits this evening and near 0° by Saturday morning.

It'll remain blustery and cold on Saturday for the gun deer opener with highs in the mid 20s, feeling like the single digits to low teens all day. We'll also have scattered snow showers off and on throughout the day, which could accumulate to a dusting to half inch.

We'll finally have a break from the snow showers on Sunday, but Sunday morning will be the coldest part of the weekend. Air temps drop to around 10°, and it'll feel like the single digits below zero once you factor in the wind.

Temps will turn a corner as we head into the work week, warming back into the low 40s with more sunshine.
