CAMBRIDGE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Move over whiskey and gin, there's another favorite in town, especially at "Dancing Goat" Distillery in Cambridge on the border of Dane and Jefferson Counties. They're solely making hand sanitizer. In just the last few weeks, they've sold 25-hundred gallons to three specific clients and donated more than a thousand gallons to various EMTs and first responders among some of the recipients. Co-owner Nicholas Maas says his establishment heard the calling, and they quickly responded.
The sanitizer, consisting of 80% alcohol, is sold only in 5-gallon containers at $150 a pop. Currently, individual customers cannot purchase any, but if you are an energy or medical company looking to buy the product, email the company at [email protected].
